Exercise 2.1

Have a moment to yourself in a quiet space. Take a deep breath, and ponder these questions:

  • What’s in my rear-view mirror?
  • Which life events and choices have brought me to this point?
  • What would I like to park up and leave behind?

This could be difficult events, defeats, misadventures – old things you don’t want to carry forward. Letting go is rarely a one-time event and the habit of practicing letting go helps over time.

Next, ask what victories, accomplishments and magic moments do I want to take forward? Go forward with clarity about what you are letting go of and what you are taking with you.
