Take a moment to clarify the one thing you need and want to achieve from your day ahead. Ask yourself “what am I telling myself right now about how I can make that possible and is this going to help me?”
If the story you are telling yourself is unhelpful, choose a new story which will take you forward with energy and purpose.
“Today is going to be awful” could instead become “I feel ready to get things done.” “I feel overwhelmed” could instead become “my success at managing difficult days is 100% and today is not different!”
